BA COMEMORIES: SITE VISITING TOUR
JULY 3, 2023 — Incoming BA COM seniors of Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines academic year 2023–2024 are preparing for their internship by visiting the locations such as radio station and news television which are related to their chosen field. In order to know what the DZWT and PTV CAR are two of the internship opportunities available to incoming senior students in the following month. This trip will provide students with a better understanding of how such technologies are used inside a radio station and news television, as well as the working atmosphere and ethics that an employee should have acquired.

First of all, I would like to mention that the opportunity to experience this during our site visit is huge and wonderful, and it will help us remember it during our pre-internship. One of the locations that a communication dream about is DZWT (radio station) and PTV CAR (news television), especially while speaking with the DJ, news reporter, and other employees for both media jobs. They also discuss with us students the development of media careers as well as their everyday tasks at work. Every student makes some notes so they may remember the important details and store them for when they work in an atmosphere similar to DZWT and PTV CAR. I want to thank the SLU BA COM department for organizing this since it is an amazing opportunity that every communication student should have at least once in a lifetime.
